Resources to help you plan your event at the Morris Hall
We want your event to run as smoothly as possible from the planning stage through to the event itself, so we offer the list below in case it helps you to find and organise the resources you need. The suggestions below have come from previous clients and friends of the Morris Hall Shrewsbury and are provided in good faith. We are not able to offer recommendations and it is entirely your responsibility to check references yourself directly with the supplier and choose the services that you believe are right for you and your event.

Parking
The official Visit Shrewsbury Map is interactive online and you can select preferences to see locations of all car parks, both short and long stay. Bellstone, where the Morris Hall is located can be found at the heart of the map opposite the Market Hall. The Shropshire Council website has full details of the current parking charges:

There is a loading bay outside the entrance to the Morris Hall, though do consult the parking signs there for information about usage. For loading / unloading and other qualifying reasons, it may be possible to obtain a dispensation (waiver) that will allow temporary parking, where parking restrictions normally apply, from Shropshire Council. Seating space and capacity planning
Online resources can help you plan how many guests you may be able to invite to your event in the Morris Hall. When making your calculations please note that the Main Hall has dimensions of 12.7 x 7.5 metres giving a maximum square footage of around 1023 sqft.
